About the Artist

Kaidy lives in Kent with her husband John and her three children, Dylan, Madeline and Oscar. The Artists paintings are inspired by dreams, hopes and recent documentaries and news items. The Artist starts with something beautiful. An inanimate object that has caught her eye. Or the sight of someone going about their work. A second, a moment in time, her eye takes a snapshot and this feeds the painting. Over time she gathers material. A photo, colours from a magazine. A thought when she was out running. Kaidy brings this to the studio and begins. The artist has an idea what the picture is about, but she is often wrong. The picture reveals itself to Kaidy and she explains,
'It's like my subconscious talking to me. With any luck I understand another little piece of the jigsaw that life is teaching me. I work until every inch of the painting resonates energy and completeness'.
'Like a good book I send my pictures off to find people they make sense to. We are not so unlike. Our lives are in parallel. It is not surprising how much is synchronized when we are all one, yet individual expressions too.'
'My inspirations are my family, the spiritual writers Paulo Coelho and Deepak Chopra.'
'I continue to evolve with regard to visual artists I like. It’s hard not to like them all for their sheer endeavour to speak without words. Presently it is, Anita Klein and Lauren Child.'
Kaidy's Paintings can be purchased as prints on card, T shirts, T towels, mugs and greeting cards. In some cases the original may be for sale.
